Save the dates for two important NEJETAA events! Coming up, we have the General Meeting on Wednesday, January 13. All are invited to participate if they have ideas or just want to meet the board. Also, we have money for food! So if you're interested in coming out and want more details, watch the website or get in touch with one of the board members. We also have our annual Shinnenkai on Saturday, January 23. This is one of our biggest events! Like last year we'll have door prizes and bingo! This year the NEJETAA shinnenkai will be held at Shabu-Zen in Allston. It's a great location for nijikai as well, if you're interested. More details TBA. If you're already interested, please contact the Social Chair or Vice President! See you soon! |

The konwakai (Japanese Business Association) is having its second forum of the year on Friday, December 18, and JET alumn are invited. This is a good opportunity to network with members of the Japanese business community! This time, the new (as of this year) Consul General will speak about what he wants to accomplish here, as well as the dialogue and challenges between the American and Japanese governments. Though the forum is strictly in Japanese, it is an illuminating experience. After the Consul General's speech is a networking reception. The forum runs from 5:30PM to 8:30PM. If you're interested, please contact me at the consulate. A full (Japanese) summary is posted below.
