Anita Brewer for Vice President:
Hello! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Anita Brewer, and I have been serving as the NEJETAA vice president since spring of 2009. I was a JET in Yamaguchi-ken from 2005 to 2008. Since returning from Japan and moving to Boston, working for NEJETAA has been an invaluable way for me to get to know Boston and socialize with other people who came from a similar situation.

If elected as vice president this year, I would like to continue helping with events such as Nihongo dake dinners, the JET orientation, and returnee gatherings. I also hope to put together a karaoke party and help the other chair members successfully plan their events and complete their tasks. I sincerely look forward to continuing my services as vice president and helping NEJETAA grow for another year!

Jenny Cheng for Treasurer:
I, Jenny Cheng, would like to serve as Treasurer for NEJETAA for the second term. I have received, maintained, and kept up with chapter finances and reporting to CLAIR since December, and would like to continue, in hopes of gaining further knowledge and experience before passing it on to the next successor. I would also like to offer and suggest a transparency for the financial details of this role with the Vice President, and also the rest of the board members. I would appreciate any members' support in doing so. Thank you.

Stephanie Simpson-White for Social Chair:
My name is Stephanie Simpson-White and I'm running for the NEJETAA Social Chair position.  Since returning from Japan last August I have been a very active and enthusiastic member of NEJETAA.  I've enjoyed the various events and activities that the group has hosted in the past year, and now I would like the opportunity to officially help with organizing and managing these events.  Thank you.

While you're logged in, please take a moment to update your profile. In the left column, click "Your Profile" in the "User Menu" box (3rd from the top). Then select "Edit" --> "Update your profile" --> "Contact Info". Please update your JET town and prefecture and your dates on JET if you haven't already. This allows us to verify voter authenticity as JETs and also so we can differentiate between spammers and real NEJETAA-ers!
