What is JETAA?

(via the JETAA USA website) The JET Program Alumni Association (JETAA) is an alumni association created in 1989 to strengthen and maintain the bonds of friendship developed between JET Program participants. JETAA has 50,000 alumni across 50 chapters in 15 different countries.

What is NEJETAA?

NEJETAA - New England JET Alumni Association - is a support network for all of those who participated in the JET Programme and are living in/connected to New England.  For more information on the JET Alumni network in general, please visit http://www.jetalumni.org.

What does NEJETAA do?

We plan networking, social events, classes, and more for JET alumni.  In general we also promote the JET Programme and Japan to the wider community.  Check the calendar to see our upcoming events!

What area does NEJETAA serve?

We are centered in Boston, but we serve the entire New England area including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Our webpage also serves information for the New Hampshire JETAA (NHJETAA) subchapter.

Do you have any other forms of media?

Yes!  We have a Facebook group and a LinkedIn group as well as a Yahoo! Groups mailing list.

How can I participate?

If you're interested in attending our functions, make sure to check this page (or Facebook or the mailing list) often.  If you want to take it to the next level and participate in our operations, make sure to attend our bi-monthly general meetings.  They are not only informative but a great way to network.  Look for the general meetings on the calendar!

Are there any membership dues?

No. There are no dues for being a member of NEJETAA.
