NEJETAA Northampton Trip

NEJETAA and friends had a day trip of hiking and exploring the Pioneer Valley of western MA!

We met in South Hadley, home of Mt. Holyoke College, where we had the option of grabbing a quick lunch at one of many restaurants or shops. Next, we hiked Mt. Tom. From its summit, we enjoyed beautiful views of the Connecticut River Valley. Afterwards, we went into Northampton, home of Smith College, where  we had time to explore its vibrant downtown area. We finished with a group dinner at Fitzwilly’s Restaurant and Bar. The hike is not difficult and  took a little less than three hours, including time at the summit.  Join us next year for another hike!

12:40pm: Depart Village Commons for Mt. Tom State Park

3:30-3:45: ETA base of Mount Tom, depart for Northampton.
