One day talk – Japan Country Specialist

Aperian Global is a cross-cultural consulting firm based in Boston. My team and I are currently searching for someone with past business and living experience in Japan, preferably a Japan native, and who is presently based in or around Boston/Cambridge area. I was hoping that you, or someone at your organization, may be able to assist us.

This Japan “Country Specialist” (CS) would join an Aperian Global Lead Consultant for full a full day or half day to talk about what it is like to work in Japan.  No formal preparation is required for the role; the CS simply supports the Aperian Global Lead Consultant with personal perspectives and experiences in working with Japanese colleagues. Modest compensation is offered for the CS’s time, in the form of USD 200 for the day or USD 150 for half day. We can offer travel reimbursement for distances of 20 miles or greater one way.

This particular program will occur in Cambridge on Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 and is for a group of employees at a global pharmaceutical firm. They are eager to learn tips for managing Japanese employees from a distance, giving feedback, and how to drive change while being culturally appropriate.
