Soumen and Yukata! August Meetup!

Hello all!

Before summer ends, let’s bust out those yukata and come on over to your Social Chair’s house in Watertown (Greater Boston) to cool down with some delicious nagashi soumen, watermelon smashing, and other oishii mono.

This will be a great chance to get to know your fellow alumni and reminisce over your favorite summer celebrations. Cicadas not included.

Those who have committed to “going” will receive an email the week of containing information about parking(free/street) and directions.

We will ask for a donation at the door that will go towards the cost of food, refreshments, and the bamboo construction. Price will be decided on a later date depending on the number of attendees.

***If you are coming a long way and are thinking about perhaps making an overnight Boston trip out of your visit- let Chelsey (Social Chair) know. There is one guest room up for grabs- first come first serve.
